An iconic piece of art

David Schleinkofer, the artist who painted the very famous art on the back of the 1984 Transformers boxes, passed a few days ago. I know we all spent many hours looking at that art. He was born on January 29, 1951, and passed on April 20, 2025. R.I.P. legend.

    This is very late, but: oh crap, this is how I find out. I knew him best from the SimCity 2000 box art and his artwork for other associated Maxis titles, but I had no idea he did all of this too.

    Rest in peace, he really did bring wonder to the world through his artwork.
