When the Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection was actually new, we talked about how Override was planned to be a retool of Hot Rod until Takara's engineers figured out how to make her from fewer molds. in the comments of that post, our pal Ai Muhao pointed out that Takara did the same for Cosmos, saving him from being a retool of Origin Bumblebee:

On a similar note, looking back at the comments all those (2) years ago, of the three characters I wished had updates but thought unlikely (Beast Wars II Galvatron, Magmatron and Big Convoy) the latter two now have toys and there's rumours they're working on a new BWII triple-changing Galvatron.
