OAFEnet Update for Thursday, March 1

The OAFEnet Email Update knows where you at, dog. Bloop!

We wrapped up Old Toys Month this week, which means our header is now back to normal. Did you miss it? It missed you.

  • There's nothing like a triple review to start the week off right. As long as "right" means "hectic." Behold the power and importance of voting.
  • Rustin polished off his impressive run of reviewing the entire Zizzle Pirates of the Caribbean line. Way to go, Rustin!
  • Whatever you do, don't show your non-toy-collecting friends this blog post - it will ruin all their illusions.
  • You ever go rewatch a cartoon you loved as a kid, only to find it's god-awful now? Yeah, happens all the time. But how often do you find one that's actually aged somewhat gracefully? Now that's a trick!
  • Really milking the "Old Toys" theme, we dropped 23 years into the past for this week's Transformers Tuesday. This review might seem slightly familiar.
  • To finish off February, we posted a new Point of Articulation column taking a look at the ghost of Toy Fairs past.
  • And finally, the last review of the week, which cleanses the palate of the Old Toys Month by leaping nearly 100 years into the future.
