This Kickstarter aims to bring a lot of public domain comicbook characters to plastic life, in the style of Super Powers or Secret Wars action figures. You'll notice that a lot of them are the same characters Shocker was planning to do for its "Golden Age" Indie Spotlight line, but it's more likely that these will happen.

Is that Fletcher Hanks' Stardust the Super Wizard?! Count me in!
Oh, and Shocker, or GBJR Toys, or whatever it's called now announced on facebook a few days ago that they're starting a Golden Age-series Kickstarter. I'm sure it really is just a coincidence, but MAN is that bad timing (for the record, I'd totally buy one of their Heap figures).
Oh, are they firing that up again? I knew it was one of their planned lines before changing their name...
Yeah, they announced it on their facebook page. But what's interesting is Fresh Monkey seems pretty cool about other people doing these characters. They updated the Kickstarter page showing off some of the unarticulated mini-statues of Stardust, Fantomah and Black Terror made by another company which I wasn't even aware of. They clearly like these characters in any form and want to spread awareness of them in any way possible. For example, the fact that all their backers actually get reprints of the Golden Age comics is a really cool idea.
I'm glad this was successful, so I don't have to feel bad about not supporting it...
But you'll still review them eventually, right?
Woo-hoo! Fletcher Hanks, the Ed Wood of comics, finally gets action figures!
