Okay, so the female elf was repainted to be Jovie, and now Papa Elf has been repainted to be Ming Ming. In retrospect, I guess the Gremlins advent calendar had a bunch of repeats like this, too, but somehow it seemed less noticeable there? Maybe if I were actually reviewing these one per day, like you're supposed to, instead of scheduling them all in a row here in springtime. Still, getting Ming Ming with his little painted beard is a nice inclusion, even if the sculpt is reused: he's played by Peter Billingsley, aka Ralphie in A Christmas Story. And he'd later work in another Jon-Favreau-directed movie when he was being yelled at by Obadiah Stane about a box of scraps.
