The Scrap-Iron featured in today's review has a large burn scar covering half his face, a new feature for the character. We told you that the Generation 3 version introduced the idea of giving him scars at all, but only because the original 1984 toy didn't use designer Ron Rudat's idea to give him a large scar running up the left side of his jaw:
So these scars may be new, but the idea goes back over 40 years.
