NECA Universal Monsters Ultimate Ardath Bey addendum

As mentioned in today's review, Ardath Bey looks pretty dull in his tan smock, and yo said NECA should have done it in a different color. Well, guess what!

Sculptor Ray Santoleri posted the following image to Instagram:

the NECA Ardeth Bey figure stands next to the original two-up sculpt, which is wearing a light teal robe instead of mustard yellow.

"From the original 1932 film, The Mummy, Boris Karloff as Ardath Bey. I had a blast sculpting this figure of Karloff as the Egyptian high priest for NECA a couple years ago. It was released last year. I love the box art NECA designed for this figure! The likeness for the action figure was sculpted by Trevor Grove. Accessories were fabricated by Anthony Minichino. Great job of production by the NECA team!"

So the two-up, at least, did get one of our recommended colors. And it looked great that way! Too bad it didn't make it all the way through.
