This is the latest in a series (of indefinite length and regularity) of blog posts memorializing cancelled toys. Our figure today is Mattel's Zombie Hulk Hogan.
Revealed a few weeks ago at SDCC, Hogan wasn't definitely scheduled for release: showing those prototypes was just Mattel's way of testing the waters for the idea.
But now, in the fallout from The Hulkster's racist comments (uttered in the middle of a sex tape made with his friend's wife - stay classy, San Diego), the WWE has cut ties with Hogan and has instructed their licensees to scrap any unproduced Hulk Hogan merchandise. If it was already in the works, it's fine (so you will see a few more Hulk toys in the coming months), but there's no moving forward on new things like this zombie.
