It's time once again to thumb through the toy section of this month's Previews, and see what goodies we can uncover. Scheduled to start shipping in February.
Remember, DC Direct is still in the middle of the "solicitation shift" that they started last month, so there's nothing new here this month - just some Ame-Comi re-re's (that's a REsolicited REpaint) and the Starcraft figures.
IDW's Transformers Infestation is listed on page 144 - remember, this is the Hearts of Steel continuity, so that means you're getting Cthulhu Steampunk. The real Transformers comics go from page 150- 152, and the GI Joe comics are 152-156.
McFarlane has a listing on page 212 for Halo Reach Series 6, plus a few multipacks.
GI Joe fans should also check out page 359, where there are T-shirts of Scarlett and the Baroness looking saucy.
Silhouettes of the next two Marvel Select figures are on page 366. It's movie versions of the Hulk and Hawkeye, which is why they can't be shown yet.
There are two plain text pages listing Avengers toys on 371 and 372. No pictures, naturally, but it's interesting to read the descriptions. Roleplay toys, Mini Muggs, deluxe figures, armored battle suits and more!
Page 374 shows DCU Classics 20 and the new Batman Legacy figures. And for the younger fans, page 375 has the DC Imaginext and Trio toys.
Speaking of DC, page 376 has Skelanimals in superhero costumes. Superman, Batman, GL and Flash as dead animals. Aww!
Living Dead Dolls are doing another fairytale two-pack, Hansel and Gretel. See their shadowy forms on page 381.
Page 382/3 have a lot of Lego stuff, but it's mostly old product.
The new Marvel Legends (aka "Marvel Universe 6-Inch") figures are on page 384. The case is listed at $183.92, which works out to be $22.99 per figure. Remember that Previews listings are expensive, but are they THAT expensive?
Marvel Universe singles are listed on the same page. Mostly repaints, but Psylocke is new.
Back in the DVD section, GI Joe Series 2 Season 1 (aka "Season 3") is listed on page 440.
