Batman has always battled alone against the forces of injustice and evil, but now he's suddenly got a kid sidekick to deal with. Where Batman is silent, serious and brooding, Robin is loud, enthusiastic and constantly bursting with excitement at getting to work with his favorite Superhero and new dad. Only time will tell whether he proves himself to be a boy blunder or a true Boy Wonder!
So, true confession time: I am not acquiring these minifigures through strictly regular-retail means. I'm not going to the nearest Myer, Big W, or Kmart to pick these up off the shelves, but after finding the first ones early at the Asian market, that's become my go-to. I didn't get Robin because I like Dick Grayson, but because the big glasses meant I could convince myself this was a Carrie Kelly Lego fig. This is the classic red-yellow-green Robin suit, with the glasses built into the hair piece, and two expressions painted on the head: a comically large smile, or a worried look. And yes, there are eyes painted behind the glasses if you want to give this head to a different character.
