Street Fighter Rangers

Today we finished up the Power Rangers x Street Fighter reviews, but there's one more thing worth discussing about them: the packaging.

While the front of the box has a render of the toy in front of some appropriate arena, and the left side has official Capcom character portraits, the right side of the box has something better: original art of the characters in their morphed forms. We only get to see a small sliver of it, unfortunately, but even that is enough to see that all of the pieces are based on Street Fighter V promo art.

But hey, this is the internet, and we love research, which is why we can tell you that the mash-up portraits were done by Dave Rapoza. And even if Hasbro has opted to not show the full beauty of the work, that doesn't mean we have to make that same mistake. Here are Ryu, Chun-Li, Ken, and Cammy, all in their Morphed forms and all compared to their SF5 art:

How cool is that? Great work, Dave!
