Creepy and kooky

a post saying "I've been laughing for 5 minutes I cannot breathe, look at Thing *crying laughing emoji*" The image below it is a Lego minifigure of Netflix's Wednesday Addams, with her hair in twin braids, an unenthusiastic look on her face, and a black umbrella in her hand. Next to her is a loose Lego minifig hand, in a slightly more yellow skintone than Wednesday's own. Since Thing is just a hand, the set includes just a hand!

    There's that idea that Lurch doesn't just look like Frankenstein's monster, he actually is Frankenstein's monster, simply working for the Addams Family because they accepted him and treated him well. So what if the same is true for Thing, and he's actually a Thing? Like a "John Carpenter's Thing" Thing? It would explain how he could just be a part of a body and still have full awareness. They treated him well and taught to value individuality, and now he just maintains a semi-realistic form.
