Today's Marvel Snap Savage Land set provides a perfect opportunity to demonstrate what the hell yo is talking about with "blue skin" thing:

Okay, much better. Now that they're right next to each other and not in front of a colorful background, you can appreciate how Shanna and Rogue have distinctly different skintones.
So it's not that she's blue blue, but she's darker and flatter. Like she's standing in a shadow. The tone might actually suit someone of Mediterranean descent, but Rogue is a basic white girl from Caldecott County, Mississippi. One who, until a week ago, wore clothes that covered everything except her face, so you wouldn't even expect her to have a light suntan.
