So hey, it turns out I still believe in Santa Claus. Go figure.
I just took my dog out for his walk. And, being that it's after midnight, I found myself looking at the sky - not just to see the stars, but to see if I could spot a sleigh and eight tiny reindeer. I actually looked up expecting to see something. Which tells me that, despite "accepting" years ago that the whole was just an elaborate effort by my family, there's still some part of me that knows Santa is real, and he's out there.
I just need to keep watching the skies.
