It's time once again to thumb through the toy section of this month's Previews, and see what goodies we can uncover. Scheduled to start shipping in August.
Sweet zombie Jesus! DC Direct has some awful little things called Blammoids, and they look like the worst things since... well, ever. What idiot is in charge of them? If you're that idiot, leave us a comment. Everyone else, turn to page 125 if you want to laugh at DC's newest bad idea.
There's a new series of Justice Society figures on page 129, and Artemis will probably cream herself at the news that Cyclone and Stargirl are in the lineup.
The World of Warcraft toys are back, with an Orc Warchief and a Gnome Warlock/Voidwalker combo. Page 131.
Nothing of interest in the Image section, so we'll just move back to page 333 and the Terminator 2 Minimates. Adorable metallic death!
Trekkies may want the Romulan Kirk and Spock two-pack on page 334. Spock's doing the eyebrow thing.
Pages 336 and 337 show us a nice assortment of Ghostbusters Minimates, including a four-pack with Stay-Puft, and a Previews exclusive two-pack.
The Marvel Minimates on 338-9 include a bunch of cool stuff, including Moon Knight, Black Panther, Electro, and a couple of army-builders.
Hey, who knew that the Futurama figures were up to Series 7 already? Hermes and the Professor knew, since they're the pair this time around.
If you feel like wildly overpaying for DC Universe Series 9 (or 7, for that matter), see page 344.
Mezco is doing Cinema of Fear Mini-Plushes, apparently. P. 346 will give you huggable Freddy, Jason and Leatherface.
Page 347 has several different Marvel Universe assortments, including animated figures. There are also new Superhero Squad sets, with the highlights being the Silver Samurai or the Vulture.
Halo Wars gets sets from Lego-knockoff company Mega Bloks. Vehicles, battle packs, and larger figures, all on page 352.
