This week was Mattel's monthly online sale, including Vikor - the "Conan"-inspired He-Man pulled from the line's earliest design sketches. Being both a new character and one so unique, fan interest in him was high. So logically, he sold out in four minutes.
However, what Mattel failed to tell anyone prior to the sale was that they hadn't gotten their full order: half of the figures were lost somewhere. Apparently it should have taken them eight minutes to sell out. Anyway, the second shipment is due to arrive early next week, so look for a second opportunity to bang your head on your desk while waiting for Mattel's site to work.
So the official word is the sale will be Monday at noon. Keep your fingers crossed!
