This is the latest in a series (of indefinite length and regularity) of blog posts memorializing cancelled toys. Our figure today is Hyperchild's DeviANTS line.
Remember the DeviANTs? The large vinyl figures that debuted at Comic-Con International in 2003? There were the two variants, including Shadow Assault Bodycount, and the standard versions of those two characters were released, but then nothing else.
While the back of the box promised seven figures, there were only four ever shown: Bodycount and Slaughterhouse, the two that were eventually released, and newcomers Hardtarget and Chopshop:
We've given them a full decade just to be safe, but at this point we fell pretty confident in saying the other figures aren't going to be released.
