I have never bought myself Star Wars Lego because it is such a slippery slope. There's just too much out there, for one thing, and then when you've finally bought everything you thought you wanted they start re-doing sets! So do you then upgrade, and leave yourself bankrupt and with no room in the house? Or do you stick with your original though slightly inferior version? It's a black hole of collecting and not one I'm willing to enter.
I suppose this isn't too different a dilemma from the Star Wars action figure collector, mind you...
