Sure, potatoes have eyes, why not?

The crossover that no one saw coming, but makes perfect sense in hindsight!

Mr. Potato Head Beholder

WizKids, the NECA subsidiary that makes all the tabletop gaming minis, announced they're teaming with Hasbro to release an official D&D Beholder figurine, crossed with a Mr. Potato Head.

The set will include the 3" tall central figure (counting the transparent base that lets it hover in mid-air) and of course a ton of swappable pieces:

  • 10 Eye Stalks, including Fire Ray and Lightning Ray
  • Central Eye
  • Central Eye with Lashes
  • Angry Central Eye
  • Pair of Glasses
  • Bag of Holding
  • Hat
  • Mustache Mouth
  • Fanged Mouth
  • Pair of Red Lips
  • Tongue

There will also be a convention-exclusive version at any show where WizKids has a booth. It will come with less pieces overall, but will include a wizard hat unavailable anywhere else:

This is such a cute idea! Considering that Mr. Potato Head and Dungeons and Dragons are both owned by Hasbro, it's surprising they've never tried this before.
