Today's review mentioned painting Havok with one of those commercially available light-absorbing black paints. Obviously that's a good idea, because someone else thought of it a couple years ago:
That isn't some photoshop trick; that's a custom ML Havok (Marvel NOW! Cyclops with the red removed, ToyBiz head) painted in Black 2.0, the generation before the Black 3.0 yo linked to. Yes, his legs just look like a silhouette there, but that's how these "blackest black" paints work.
(Those energy circles look nicer than what we got, too.)
