OAFEnet Update for Thursday, November 8

The only reason the OAFEnet Email Update isn't on strike is that the WGA didn't want us. Said we were too effete for them.

The theme of this week's reviews is "multiple" - that is, every link we have for you is home to more than one review. So pour yourself a doubleshot of your favorite beverage and settle in for two times the fun.

  • If you like your men old and your girls young, Friday's review was the one for you! But before you get visions of Humbert Humbert or Hal Jordan in your head, this set isn't like that - it's a parent/child relationship, just one that's phenomenally screwed up. But still, not like that. Everything's all above-board here.
  • The only thing the folks in our next review have in common is that they both played second-fiddle to the same bloke, at different times. Well, okay, they were on the same team, but that's almost an afterthought. No one pairs these two together, other than the manufacturer.
  • If those reviews weren't "multiple" enough for you, you'll love our next one. This week's Transformers Tuesday is the kickoff of our November initiative, wherein we plan to give you 12 TF reviews in one month. Have we gone insane? How can we do such a thing? The answer lies within.
  • Oddly enough, our final review of the week is a mirror of the first. Once again, it involves an old man and a young girl, a familial relationship, and heavy ordinance. Unexpected symmetry!
