You know Mondo, the company that releases fancy posters for all sorts of movies, and somehow convinces people that paying $80 for a poster is fiscally sound? Well, prepare to get your wallets broken, because they're getting into the toy business. And not just artsy urban vinyl, either - real, actual toys, starting with The Iron Giant!
This toy, along with a couple TMNT ones and a 12"er based on Alfred Hitchcock will debut at SDCC later this week. And look for an article in tomorrow's USA Today where Alamo Drafthouse CEO Justin Ishmael talks about what he wants to get from this line (the news is good: the toys shouldn't be as ridiculously hard to get as the posters).
