We're all just part of a long tradition

Two photos of a portly little clay soldier, about four or five inches tall, who appears to be nude except for a loincloth and scarf. He's posed with his left hand out before him in a 'stop' gesture, with his right hand balled into a fist by his waist. The photos show that the little guy has a hat that can be taken off to reveal his bare head. The hat has two large discs that look like oversized eyes, with a horizontal opening below those where the wearer would be able to look out. The image is captioned "1500-year-old Ceramic Maya Figurine with Removable Helmet." Someone has added the comment "a core aspect of the human condition is loving your little action figures with cool, removable accessories."
