Gender is a construct(ion toy)

A Lego minifigure man sits at a computer, talking to a woman standing next to him with a coffee cup. He has a slight smile on his face, while she has a quizzically raised eyebrow behind her glasses. Man: "...and that's what a Sigma male is." Woman: "Thank you, that was... fascinating." M: "Why did you want to hear about alphas, betas, and so forth?" W: "I wanted to understand it more so I could ask you a question." M: "Go on." W: "How can you say there are only two genders..." W: "...when you have seven categories just for male?" The woman sips her coffee. The man is now grumpy and refusing to make eye contact with her.
