Kapow Toys is a UK-based online toystore that sells Transformers, Figuarts, etc.

And here's the man in charge of the company getting defensive because someone called him out for posting pro-white-supremacy material on LinkedIn:

That initial "don't post Nazis to my timeline" was because Andy reshared (correction: "Liked," which then automatedly reshared) this utterly embarrassing post by former GI Joe marketer Kirk Bozigian crying like a baby about having to respect people of other races. Once the word spread that he was a dickhead, he even joined Bluesky to try to "defend" himself... by which we mean he simply stuck his foot in his mouth and dug himself in further, confirming the accusations against him were true. And got super defensive because an ice cream company said white supremacy is bad.
So, you can go block him on there, and then remember: never order from Kapow again. If you have any preorders, feel free to cancel them. If you ever see Kapow listed as a vendor at a convention, contact the organizers and ask them to reconsider.
Go fash, no cash.

Thanks for the heads up, I used to buy from them quite regularly, never again.
So how do you feel about Israel and their government?
Unchanged, why?
Nice, I was just curious since I hadn't encountered that article yet. Appreciated, they make my blood boil too.
Also I actually don't remember what I originally wanted to say about Israel when I asked, but I'm glad we're on the same page as a very long time reader
Lol Andy and kapow have been pillers of the UK tf community for years, he's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, op got his panties in a twist over nothing typical keyboard warrior behaviour.
Says the one who laid low for six months hoping no one would notice his comment when he finally posted.
It doesn't matter if Andrew is "one of the nicest people you'll ever meet", because "nice" is different to "good". I don't think he's some kind of secret bigot who only had to pretend to be nice until he thought it was safe to let the mask slip, but he still felt appropriate reposting white supremecy, and he still got defensive under the guise of "let's not be political" when his junk actions were pointed out. If he were half the pillar of the community you think he is, he'd have been smarter than that, and he doesn't need you caping for him.
You know the "she's not going to sleep with you bro" saying? He's not going to give you a Kapow gift voucher bro.
“Nice people made the best Nazis. My mom grew up next to them. They got along, refused to make waves, looked the other way when things got ugly and focused on happier things than “politics.” They were lovely people who turned their heads as their neighbors were dragged away. You know who weren’t nice people? Resisters.”
― Naomi Shulman
He didn't reshare a post. He liked a post on LinkedIn. He had no idea who it was sharing it or creating the original post. It was then screenshot and shared to Bluesky.
Cheers mate, I see that.
But you know it doesn't change anything, yes?
I used to like this site but this is full on ''take me to your manager'' behaviour. I've read the comments and I cannot see how this is linked to Fascism or Racism.
No, you didn't read the posts, you're lying. Or you're mind-bogglingly stupid
-> White supremacist makes post complaining about DEI
-> Kirk enthusiastically agrees with it
-> Andrew reposts Kirk, again endorsing white power ideals
-> gets called out on it
-> Cries about how everybody needs to be nicer to him because he's "nOt TrYiNg To Be PoLiTiCaL"
If you can't follow those breadcrumbs, your parents were right to abandon you in the woods to be eaten by a witch. Next time, don't lie unless you're smart enough to get away with it...
You sound like a lovely person. I had a read as suggested after learning about this via TFW2005.
1) The chap from Kapow didn't actually share anything, he liked a post about how it was affecting the finances of Ben and Jerrys
2) Had a check through the full on extremist posts on Bluesky, nothing but '' I am right, you are wrong'' from people piling on whilst he tries to explain things to them. Its interesting this all happened at the same time a certain orange goblin got elected into power, almost like they were trying to take their frustrations out on whoever they picked on that particular day.
3) The person that originally claimed the post was ''shared'' has nothing to back up the claim and has removed all mention of it from his socials possibly in an attempt to make sure he doesn't get sued into oblivion ? Just a thought seeing as the internet has made people think they can say and do whatever they want without recourse.
The only views I can see that are extremist and unreasonable are once again those of the far far left of which I'm more and more ashamed to be associated with.
Because I'm not some corporate weirdo, I don't know how Linkedin works. But I can see, from looking at the screenshot, that you're right and I was wrong: it doesn't say Andrew shared the post, only that he "liked" it, which I guess on Linkedin still also sends it to your feed for some reason?
So I take it back, he wasn't actively reposting white supremacist talking points. He was, instead, attempting to secretly agree with white supremacist talking points without anyone knowing about it, and unintentionally reposted them in the process. (Because no, the post was not about finances, it was about how we shouldn't have to hire non-white people if we don't want to; "Andrew Rose likes this.") So, still an utter garbage thing to do, but not as dumb as it seemed.
Oh, you think I'm mean? Well guess what, I am. I'm mean because I'm weary of conservatives trying to lie about things when they have no other way of defending their point of view. Because maybe, if someone else had been mean to them before, they'd have already learned to be better. Especially when they're not smart enough to get away with lying, so stop trying to do it...
You are trying very hard to justify your replies which are not based in fact.
The post on LinkedIn is entirely about how DEI had affected Ben and Jerrys bottom line and that is what Kirk Bozigian had posted about, which from what I read on Bluesky he ( Kapow ) quite openly stated he had liked but not ever shared. The post captioned above literally states he wants to enjoy entertainment and ice cream without ''the message'' being hammered home constantly.
I still cannot see how that makes someone a Nazi Fascist or full of hate, what I can see however is the attacks once again harm any cause we have against genuine discrimination and Alexander Maw should be concerned about the bonfire started by posting something which had been skewed by him to fit a narrative only he knows about.
A bit of a dive on Alexander Maw reveals he lost his last job under a bit of a cloud and finds it hard to find and hold down work in his chosen industry, This in itself paints a picture of a person that is trouble if you chose to run with minimal facts like everyone involved in this on Bluesky.
Ignoring facts is becoming an issue in all walks of life, is liking anything by Ian Miles Cheong sensible ? of course not but what if you don't know who he is and when educated you agree he isn't a nice individual ? Isn't that learning a lesson ? I can see in the posts he ( Kapow ) actually thanked someone for letting him know who Cheong was but it wasn't even touched upon because no one wanted to listen. I am not here to defend anyone, I'm simply here because this whole thing is an example of how all sides in a never ending war are moving further and further apart when the end goal should be more understanding and education, instead we're constantly trying to cancel and destroy.
You seem really angry, that isn't a nice place to be so I hope you can find some peace with whatever is troubling you and I am sorry you have been hurt by people.
Okay, see, this is precisely what I was talking about: when I said "they" weren't good enough at lying to get away with it, what I really meant was "you." YOU aren't good enough to get away with it. But I was trying to be nice, trying to give you the opportunity to save face and just slink away from the conversation quietly, but because you couldn't figure that out and because I wasn't mean enough to you, here we still are and I continue to have to waste time.
The post on Linkedin was not "about" how DEI had affected Ben & Jerry's. It was Kirk Bozigian sharing a tweet from a racist and adding his own bigotry on top of it. The screenshot is right there. It's linked. Anyone at all can go look at it, and see that it is a racist thing to like. Yet you're trying to pretend it's not. You're lying, but not well enough to get away with it. Like I said. Like I apparently should have said more plainly, so you'd get the goddamn hint and stop trying to lie.
Most people, seeing an old man complain about diversity, equality, and inclusion, wouldn't approve of that. They wouldn't like it. And they certainly wouldn't "Like" it. But Andrew Rose sure did! He looked as a post promoting white supremacy, and he thought that was something he agreed with enough to click the thumbs-up button to show how much he agreed with it. How much he agreed that 1) diversity, 2) equality, and 3) inclusion were bad things. To claim he didn't? That would be a lie. That would be you, lying. Attempting to, at least. And not getting away with it.
You're also lying about reading all the posts on Bluesky. Because Alex Rose, he got block-happy when people refused to "be nice" and let him off the hook quietly. And when you block someone on Bluesky, it terminally nukes the entire thread between you, even for the person you were talking to. Even they can't see what they wrote to him anymore. If you did actually go read ANYTHING, which at this point I have no reason to trust you did, you read the things that Alex Rose felt were sympathetic enough to his persecution complex to leave in place.
You entered this conversation, claiming that you used to like us. Not because it's true, but because you thought any of us had some sense of vanity you could appeal to and that doing so would let your clumsy lies slide by unnoticed. When that failed to work, you switched to the semantics of "shared" versus "liked," hoping that you could rules-lawyer your way into getting us to back off, at the same time trying to insinuate that Alexander Maw had made the entire thing up. That also didn't work, because it was also a lie. A big, clear lie. And now, when that has ALSO failed, your new tack is to pretend to be above it, to lie and pretend you're in the middle and you just want civility. Crying "can't we all just get along" while still trying to make it seem like Alexander Maw, who we have literal screenshots backing up is untrustworthy. "I didn't say for certain there's anything bad about Maw, I'm just asking questions!" No, you're not, you're lying. You know you're lying, and that's what makes it a lie.
My dude. You are lying. You are lying badly. You are pretending to be someone you're not, you're pretending to not understand things you absolutely do, and you're flailing desperately to find something, anything, that will either deflect attention or make us feel embarrassed enough to let you get away with it. I don't know, maybe whoever it was that joked Andy Rose is offering Kapow giftcards to people who go to random sites and defend him wasn't just kidding around, and you're hoping to cash in. But it's not going to work, because your attempts at lying are too transparent and clumsy. So for the love of god, Montressor, stop trying! Stop trying to defend a man who couldn't understand why a company would bother to condemn white supremacy if there was no obvious profit motive in it for them. Stop being the kind of person who would want to defend that man...
> it terminally nukes the entire thread between you
Which is what I'll be doing soon if you don't cool off, yo.
It took me 30 minutes to find Lee Trayler and Umar Ali's home addresses, phone numbers and email addresses.
Imagine what can be found about all of you with some proper effort.
Andy is a decent guy, you've all ordered from him, he has your details and hasn't retaliated while you've pulled this shit for 7 months. The guy is a saint. Most people would have used that info.
Now I suggest you all stop your nonsense. People in glass houses shouldn't go chucking stuff about.
I have a list of names, I'll start looking into all of you and I'm sure you won't like what I find.
Are those names meant to mean something?
And moreover, nothing says "the white supremacist I'm defending is an innocent person" like feeling the need to make empty, anonymous threats. Ohh, such a big tough boy you are!
Pathetic.
oh man. I've purchased frequently from kapow toys. My heart sunk reading this. Jesus. Well, thanks. I guess I'm sticking to in demand toys then. Unless you know any other decent online UK retailers. Devastating, honestly.
Am I missing something here? Kirk shared the post of Ian Miles Cheong that spoke against Ben and Jerry's DEI stance. Again, IAN MILES CHEONG. He's not a white guy.
Also "Bozigian" is an Armenian name. I'm pretty sure Hitler's Mein Kampf was all for the Armenian Genocide.
Why call this Kirk guy a Nazi? He's really not. (Also, Nazi Germany wasn't true fascism historically. That was Italy in WWII.)
Since when do you have to be white to post white supremacy garbage? AFAIK, no one has ever figured out why Chong has hitched his wagon to American conservatism in particular, but he has, and so it's his job to espouse whatever talking point they pretend to firmly believe in this week. For example, "DEI bad." You know: the white supremacist position. He posted it, Kirk shared it, and Andy liked it, whether any of them are white or not.
you also have to understand modern American racism, where "white" = "light enough skin and no accent." Even in the '80s nobody would have thought of Kirk Bozigian as "that Armerian guy" unless he talked like a Borat character.
(Also I'm not sure how many Americans know Armenia is a thing...)
