No longer the West Week Ever

Awful news via the GoFundMe today:

With a heavy heart, I’m sharing that William has passed away. These past weeks have been filled with so much uncertainty, hope, and love. I truly believed we might still have more time, but his body had been through so much, and he just wasn't able to keep fighting. Our girls and I are completely heartbroken. He was such a loving father, and the bond he shared with them was something truly special. We will carry his love forward together, and I will do everything I can to make sure they always know how deeply he loved them. I want to thank every single one of you who supported us - through donations, messages, prayers, and simply holding us in your thoughts. It meant more than I can ever fully express. You carried us through the hardest moments of our lives. William was deeply loved by so many, and I made sure he knew that. I will carry him with me always - in every memory, every quiet moment, every piece of my heart. Right now, we’re taking things one moment at a time. Thank you for surrounding our family with so much love. — Lindsay

Every time we referred to Will as "friend of the site," we really meant it. Everybody will miss you, man.

    He was an incredibly bright light in the world and he'll be missed so, so much.
