This is the latest in a series (of indefinite length and regularity) of blog posts memorializing cancelled toys. Our figure today is ToyBiz's Trapster.
Originally known as Paste-Pot Pete, Trapster was created in 1962 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby as an enemy for the Human Torch, but was more popular as a member of the Frightful Four.
Trapster was meant to be part of ToyBiz's 1995 Fantastic Four, but when Series 4 was dropped from six figures to five, Trapster was the one chosen to get the axe.
