Last time we said the GI Joe cast should be all finished. And while it's true that it should be finished, we were apparently wrong, because model-turned-actress Karolina Kurkova has been cast as model-turned-mechanic Cover Girl. It's sort of fitting, since the character - real name Courtney Krieger - actually was a high fashion model who quit doing that to join the Joe team, but is anyone expecting this Victoria's Secret model to really pull out the acting chops?
Then again, maybe it'll be like Courtney Love playing a drug-addled ex-stripper in The People vs. Larry Flynt or Eminem playing angry trailer trash in 8 Mile: a role that's so true to life, there's almost no way to screw it up. And on the plus side, hey, boobies! If we had to guess, we'd say not to expect more than a cameo from Cover Girl, but it's still too early to say for sure. On the plus side, at least Larry Hama is going to be involved somehow.
