It's time once again to thumb through the toy section of this month's Previews, and see what goodies we can uncover. Scheduled to start shipping in May.
We begin with DC Direct's Ame-Comi. Zatanna and Cheetah get repaints this time, both looking better for it. Page 139.
Page 142 has more Starcraft figures - Tychus and Kerrigan. Due on October 26.
IDW's GI Joe and Transformers comics are listed between page 146 and 151.
Transfans should check out page 353, for The Transformers Vault hardcover, which is a big history of the brand.
And then, right on the next page is The Unofficial Cartoon Guide to He-Man, which has everything you'd expect, plus info on 50 unproduced episodes.
Page 372 has Marvel Select versions of Captain America and Red Skull. Page 373 has the Cap-themed Minimates Series 40.
There are Halo Minimates on page 374, and a surprisingly expensive Jak and Daxter set on page 375.
Since most of these toys won't be out until October, page 376 has this year's Universal Monsters Minimates: Frankenstein and Dracula.
There are new Family Guy figures on page 378 - complete with talking bases like the Simpsons toys had.
Page 378 also offers a new assortment of GI Joe toys: Snake-Eyes, Iron Grenadier, Crazy Legs, Viper, Croc Master and Rock Viper.
Want a 14" tall Lion-O? Why? Well, you can get it on page 380.
NECA is doing Gremlins again, starting with a series of mogwai on page 382.
Excitingly, Shocker Toys' Indie Spotlight Series 2 is listed on page 382, as well. Let's hope Diamond doesn't screw them over this time.
Page 383 lists DC Universe Classics Series 17, the Blackest Night-themed series.
Mezco's DC Mez-Itz are listed on page 384: two-packs, and Batman with the Batmobile.
There's an Iggy Pop figure on page 389, which may be the creepiest toy you'll see all year.
And then, on page 395, you can see NECA's Duke Nukem figure. It's been a long, long time, hasn't it?
Doctor Who fans will want to see the huge bounty of new toys on page 409.
