Soon Forget: Total Justice Superboy

Okay, it's been a good long while since we talked about any of the old Total Justice designs, but looking at Aquaman a few weeks ago made me start thinking of them again.

In case you've forgotten: Total Justice got three series out before the line was cancelled, but there were other figures in the works that were then put into other lines. However, many of the planned TJ designs were leaked to the public in a coloring book.

The third series of Hasbro's JLA line had a bit of a "Young Justice" theme going on, with Robin, Impulse and Superboy all getting a place in the series. It was slightly odd that Superboy was wearing his regular costume, but lacking the leather jacket he always wore over it - a choice that makes more sense if the mold was originally meant to have snap-on armor.

The art does show him with his jacket, but maybe they were planning to make the jacket and jetpack part of the same item?

No comment on Wonder Woman being there too?

If that armor had come out, those goggles would have meant a lot of Amalgam Spider-Boy customs!
