This is the latest in a series (of indefinite length and regularity) of blog posts memorializing cancelled toys. Our figure today is Kenner's Batman Forever Batman.
Obviously there were Batman Forever toys, but none like this.
When Kenner began work on the third Batman movie's toys, it was assumed Michael Keaton would be returning to the role. When he dropped out and was replaced by Val Kilmer, the toys were redesigned with the new likeness, so this 1996 prototype is a glimpse at an alternate world.
