Caption: 12 years ago.
Peter Parker (off-panel): Oh man, thanks Mr. Jameson! You won't regret this!
JJJ: Harumph! We'll see about that. Now get the hell out, I've got a newspaper to run!

Panel 2: Peter rushes out of the office as Robbie Robertson comes in.
Peter: Yes sir! I'm gonna blow your socks off with my next batch of pics!
Robbie: Uh, hey Jonah. Afternoon meeting has been moved to the board room...

Panel 3: Robbie looks out of the office while Jonah fold the newspaper away. At the receptionist desk, Peter is talking to Betty Brant.
Robbie: Was that Peter--
JJJ: --Parker. The new freelance shooter.
Robbie: Geez, Jonah, he's what, 15? 16?

JJJ: ...the kid just needs some help.

Good Guy Jonah!

What a ton of detail to include! We get references to Kingpin, Norman Osborn, Spider-Man (of course), Black Cat, Mysterio, Electro, Cyborg Spider-Man, Daredevil, and more. And notice, all those characters are also available in the Retro line, which, given the huge cast Spider-Man interacts with, had to have been an intentional choice. We see you, unknown designer, and your clever work has not gone unappreciated!
