Despite creating a billion-dollar franchise - with a new $200M budget Hollywood blockbuster launching in a month - the creator of He-Man's family were unable to afford his dementia and care facility costs, and had to set up a GoFundMe. Mattel gave $5,000.

Mattel has never met an idea they couldn't do wrong.
