Flippin' through Previews - January '13

It's time once again to thumb through the toy section of this month's Previews, and see what goodies we can uncover. Scheduled to start shipping in March.

DC's Ame-Comi comic is becoming a monthly ongoing. The first issue is on page 133, and will be in stores March 6.

Hey, DC Direct's 3.75" figures are finally going to be available in a store! There's a Deathstroke vs. Green Arrow two-pack on page 159.

Simon Baz, the new Green Lantern, gets his first toy on page 160.

IDW's GI Joe comics are on pages 162-164, My Little Pony is on 171, and Transformers are on 174-6.

Next up is page 230, with McFarlane's Walking Dead Series 3, as well as a b/w Michone 3-pack.

There are Cobra and Optimus Prime designs waiting for you in the t-shirt section on page 388.

Don't bother going to page 394 to see the Iron Man 3 Minimates - they're listed, but not shown.

But you can go to page 402, to see the weird little Transformers Minifigures. Strange!

Page 406 lists the new series of Marvel Universe toys - Puck, Nova, Nighthawk, Angel, Hercules and more. And right below that are a new set of Spider-Man toys.

Page 407 reveals a few 6" Spider-Man cartoon toys as well.

NECA gets in on the action on page 408, with Friday the 13th Part 4 and Gremlins: Mogwai Series 3. Plus, the long-awaited NOES Freddy's Furnace diorama.

Actual Transformers toys, in the form of Kre-O and Beast Hunters, are on pages 412/413.

When you turn to page 414, you can get the Bioshock Infinite and Team Fortress 2 toys.

...Ame-Comi... why? Why must this showcase of the worst of nerddom's attitudes to women get an ongoing comic? Does DC just hate women or something?
