It's time once again to thumb through the toy section of this month's Previews, and see what goodies we can uncover. Scheduled to start shipping in October.
DC's He-Man comic is on page 120. This month? Tri-Klops!
The new series of BtAS figures includes Nightwing, Bane, Scarecrow and Mad Hatter. Look for them on page 146, and in stores in December.
Page 148 has a Mad Love two-pack, featuring the animated Joker in a shiny purple suit, and Harley in her nightgown. Rowr!
The same page has a Dark Knight Returns two-pack, featuring Batman and Superman. Gee, I wonder why?
Then on page 149 you can peep the DC Comics Icons figures of Superman, Harley Quinn, Atomica, and Aquaman (complete with "psychic rings" poking out of his forehead).
Man-Bat, Azrael and Professor Pyg all come in page 150's Arkham Knight three-pack.
Looks like GI Joe is gearing up for a big event, judging by the listing and preview on pages 162/3.
Next are the Transformers comics on pages 164/5.
Jem is on 170, and My Little Pony is on 173.
Page 236 features McFarlane Toys' Walking Dead and Halo offerings.
There are Transformers T-shirts on page 496 that look exactly like the ones we designed years ago. And one on page 497 that doesn't.
DST is doing a "Select" style figure of I Zombie. You can order her on page 509.
Ready for some Minimates? Page 510 has Predator and TMNT, and page 511 has Series 64 of the Marvel ones - with Howard the Duck! Then there's Walking Dead on page 513!
There's a huge Star Wars section on pages 518-528. Order the Black Series toys that will never show up in a store.
The Ant-Man movie toys are available on page 530, and the second series of Avengers figures is on 532.
The Cthulhu figure on page 535 looks nice, but not for $80.
Pages 538-542 bring us the ubiquitous Funko section, full of Pops and ReActions.
NECA's 1954 Godzilla is next, on page 543.
The Spider-Man figures that just started shipping are listed on page 545.
Several cool NECA things on page 548: Aliens, Predators, and Flying Otachi from Pacific Rim.
Transformers live on pages 554/5. Someone buy us a Devastator.
